Former Prime Minister of France, President of the Constitutional Council, and President of the famous COP 21 / Paris Agreement, we now discover Laurent Fabius the painter. He grew up in a family of antique dealers, immersed in the art world from a very young age, yet he chose a different path: public service and politics.

However, his interest in art never truly left him. He loves painting, visits museums, and questions what he sees, as evidenced by the two books he has devoted to the subject: *Le cabinet des douze* (2010) and *Tableaux pluriels* (2022). Fifteen years ago, he stepped through the looking glass, picked up his brushes, and began to create. Guided by his sensibility and his encounters—particularly with artists such as Yan Pei-Ming and Pierre Soulages—he developed and refined his own artistic practice.

He began with small formats, always in acrylic, then moved on to increasingly larger canvases, sometimes monumental in scale. Color and movement are at the heart of his creative process.
