Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso was a painter, draughtsman and sculptor from Malaga in Spain. Founder of cubism, whose potential is contained in his masterpiece Les Demoiselles d'Avignon executed in 1907, he produced, with Georges Braques, paintings characterised by a research on the geometry of the represented forms. The painter was also a fellow artist of surrealism and is considered one of the major artists of the 20th century.
