Founded in the XIIth century by Cistercian monks, this important estate is now owned by the Dauré family. The narrow road leading to Château de Jau winds its way through a majestic Mediterranean setting where olive trees, cypresses and vines share the land.

The Château de Jau estate is made up of a palette of terroirs, a complex blend of around a hundred hectares of vines, swept by the Tramontane and maritime-influenced winds in the heart of Roussillon.

The Domaine du Château de Jau is also a unique venue for contemporary art exhibitions. Every summer, a major exhibition takes place at the Domaine, bringing together artists and art lovers around the Grill.
