The Fonds International d'Art Actuel is the only permanent exhibition space for contemporary art in Le Mans on this scale. It completes the existing offer in Le Mans with the numerous art galleries or municipal museums: Tessé for the Fine Arts, Jean-Claude Boulard - Carré Plantagenêt focused on the early days of creation up to the medieval period, the Queen Berengaria museum showing local art and witnessing the history of the city, or the natural history museum also called Musée Vert. Obvious synergies are created with the collections of the city of Le Mans, which also has a collection of contemporary art that is rarely exhibited.
