Created by a group of notables within the Society of Letters, Sciences and Arts of Aveyron and installed in the former Jouéry mansion acquired by Maurice Fenaille, the museum presents the archaeology, art and history of the Rouergue region, from the earliest traces of man, including the most important collection of menhir statues in Europe.
