Since 2014 and an inaugural edition during which the work of Jean Denant was widely noticed, the Paul-Valéry museum invites every two years a quartet of artists to occupy each one of the rooms dedicated to temporary exhibitions. For this fifth edition of 4 à 4, as this event is called, which seeks to encourage contemporary creation, Nissrine Seffar, Zhang Hong Mei, Alain Campos and Aroldo Governatori have been invited.

Despite their stylistic differences, the four artists submit their incessant questioning of the world through the prism of memory work, the place of digital technology and the rereading of traditions.
