The exhibition

On the forecourt of the Nantes Museum of Art, a glass cube contains a monumental work by Zhu Hong, born in 1975 in Shanghai and trained at the School of Fine Arts in Dijon, between sculpture and architecture, where his practice of watercolor also comes into play. A schematic take on the architecture of the museum's patio, the central space of the institution as well as an example of its construction in the 19th century, the work entitled Arcades plays on this relocation from the inside to the outside, in a spirit of model that encourages mental projection.
