A journalist specialising in photography, Sophie Bernard founded Images Magazine in 2003, which she ran until her death in 2015. Since then, she has worked freelance and divides her time between writing for publishers and the press - general and specialist magazines - as well as teaching. Sophie Bernard is the author of two books of conversations with photographers - Guillaume Herbaut (2015) and Stéphane Duroy (2019) -, and Prix photo, mode d'emploi (2019 and 2022) with Chantal Nedjib (Filigranes Éditions).
