"1, 2, 3, 4"... Dan Miller begins most of his works with these few numbers limpidly inscribed in black at the top of a large sheet of white paper, as if he were taking off before blackening the page with an accumulation of words pushed to the point of illegibility... Invited in 2017 by Christine Macel to the Venice Biennale, curator of the international exhibition Viva Arte Viva, Dan Miller thus participated in one of the most prestigious artistic events - alongside contemporary artists but also Judith Scott or Luboš Plný, who are also well known to art brut lovers.
