Conceived via drawing in terms of "physical and visual occupation", Nicolas Guiet's painting runs in outgrowths of bold colours along the walls, floors and ceilings of various architectures, playing and thwarting with their primary landscape, involving their angles and encircling their frames in order to redesign them. In the mode of grafting rather than fusion, each of her pieces asserts itself as concomitant of the space and its own support, which it disturbs by its autonomy. In order to better form a body, it operates as a foreign body.
