Rémy Jacquier's work is wide-ranging: diverse materials, numerous and sometimes heterogeneous artistic references, a discreet but omnipresent relationship with the body, a fascination for the operations of encryption and transposition, and the crossing of several disciplines (drawing, sculpture, music, dance, architecture, etc.). Operating by shifts and rebounds, his work nevertheless reveals a very strong coherence. The labyrinthine paths taken by the artist are never the simple implementation of a programme, but constitute the very object of his work.
