"Painting is the place of reconstitution", says Florence Reymond. Undoubtedly it should be understood rather as that of the "reconstruction". As we say of an individual that he rebuilds himself. In fact, with her, it is all about a buried memory and an obliterated childhood that one fine day, the hazards of life will allow her to bring back to the surface. If she doesn't really recognize herself in all the family slides she has found, she nevertheless decides to use them as motifs for her painting."
