Since 1947, the Salon Réalités Nouvelles has been presenting a survey of contemporary abstract art. From October 22 to 24, 2021, each of the artists selected for the occasion will present a work - painting, sculpture, engraving, drawing, photography - alongside an arts and sciences section. Attached to the promotion of abstract works, the annual historical Salon presents several trends testifying to the same artistic will; concrete art, geometric art, non-figuration, sometimes going as far as allusive figuration.
For its 75th edition, the Salon is spread over three locations in the heart of Paris:
the Espace Commines, in the Haut-Marais district,
the Réfectoire des Cordeliers, in the Odéon district,
and the Abstract Project Gallery, near Nation
After a year of no shows and more than 10,000 artists having shared the adventure of the Salon Réalités Nouvelles, the event remains a meeting place for artists, their works, collectors and the public.
