"The landscape came to me naturally and I pulled the thread as if I were unrolling a ball of yarn. I don't know where it will take me. For the moment, even if I sometimes resort to intermediaries like photography, even video, and I have all sorts of extrapictorial desires, painting and landscape pull me by the sleeve and take over. Nothing is less certain that this will continue because I remain open to all the plastic solicitations that come my way."
