Discovered in 2006 thanks to her drawings in the group exhibition À fleur de peau. Le dessin à l'épreuve at the Éric Dupont gallery in Paris, Marine Joatton develops a fantastic imagination drawn on scraps of paper and spread out in a frenetic way on her drawing books. Her recent works show a real need to evolve her gesture towards more pictorial dimensions where color is revealed as the new reservoir of energy.
