Christian Lhopital's art, made up mostly of drawing, is required by the human, but a human that is at the same time panicked, distraught, affected by the Saint-Guy dance, funny and disturbing. "How is the world going, Môssieu? It turns, Môssieu!" exclaimed the playwright François Billetdoux in the 1960s. The one of Lhopital does not only turn, it panics and carries us along in a graphic infernal round.
