Géométries abstraites au musée Würth
Born in Germany in 1936, Bert subtly integrates geometric decantation and material work. A sensitive weave in which paper, fragile and reactive, plays a dominant role, an attraction nourished by the artist's many trips to Asia and the discovery of Egyptian papyrus. And if the motifs are repeated, it's to invade the surface of the paper in a convulsive, incantatory manner.
